Kaitlyn’s senior session at Philbrook Museum of Art Gardens in Tulsa was such a beautiful one—truly the kind of session you dream about as a photographer.
We started early on a quiet Sunday morning, chasing that soft, golden glow that only happens right after sunrise. To our surprise, the gardens were completely empty. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made everything feel even more peaceful and dreamy. Spring was showing off in the best way—tulips were in full bloom everywhere we turned, adding the most vibrant pops of color to every frame. Between the perfect weather, dreamy light, and blooming florals, it was one of those sessions where everything came together so effortlessly.
And Kaitlyn made it even better! She was incredibly kind, easygoing, and so incredibly sweet. Her style was absolutely stunning—she wore a flowy pastel dress that felt both classic and elevated, pairing beautifully with the timeless charm of the gardens. Every detail just worked. Beyond all of that, what stood out most was her heart—Kaitlyn carries such a genuine love for Jesus, and it truly shines through in the way she carries herself. There’s a warmth and light about her that you can’t pose or plan—it’s simply who she is, and it made this session feel even more meaningful!
After wrapping up at Philbrook, we headed into downtown Tulsa to capture a completely different vibe. The shift from soft garden elegance to a more urban, editorial feel was the perfect way to end her session. The sunset light reflecting off the buildings created the prettiest glow, and the classic gold Bank of Oklahoma on Boston Avenue added such a timeless, iconic backdrop to her portraits.
A few weeks later, prom rolled around, and I had the joy of capturing Kaitlyn once again—this time in the most stunning blue dress that sparkled with every movement. It was such a full-circle moment getting to document another special milestone for her, and she absolutely glowed the entire evening.
Sessions like this are exactly why I love being a senior portrait photographer serving Tulsa, Broken Arrow and surrounding areas. There’s something so special about capturing seniors during such a meaningful season of life—especially in a place as beautiful as Tulsa in the spring.
Kaitlyn, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this exciting chapter for you. You were an absolute joy to photograph, and I loved every second of getting to celebrate you! I hope you love looking back through some of my favorite moments from your session.
