Experience

working with caressa

my approach

I photograph high school seniors and families during some of their most meaningful seasons—senior year milestones and the everyday moments families never want to forget. My approach is relaxed and intentional, creating light, airy, true-to-life images that celebrate confidence, connection, and the beauty of being exactly who you are in this moment.

More than photography, this work is a ministry. My heart is to serve families well and use my gifts to honor stories that are fearfully made, deeply known, and captured with purpose.

senior expereience

YOU ARE DEEPLY KNOWN, INTENTIONALLY MADE, AND BECOMING WHO GOD DESIGNED YOU TO BE.

A guided senior portrait experience that feels calm, confident, and parent-approved.

You are deeply known, intentionally made, and becoming who God designed you to be. I create light, airy, true-to-life senior portraits that feel natural, fun, and completely you—never stiff or over-posed.

You don’t need to know how to pose or plan—I’ll guide you every step of the way. You’ll receive a senior style guide to help with outfits and prep, hands-on posing during your session, and help choosing the perfect location that matches your personality and vibe. I photograph seniors throughout Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and Northeast Oklahoma.

More than photos, this experience is about celebrating who you are right now—fearfully made, deeply known, and stepping confidently into what’s next.

Spots are limited each season to serve each senior with care and intention.

family experience

These are the days God knew your heart would want to remember.

A guided family experience that you can trust.

God gave you these moments—and they’re passing faster than your heart can keep up with. I photograph families in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and surrounding areas, creating light, airy, true-to-life images that feel natural, connected, and full of heart. You’ll receive a family style guide to simplify planning, gentle guidance during your session, and help choosing the perfect location that fits your family’s personality. My goal is to help you preserve what God is growing in your home—images that feel like love, faith, and the life you’re building together.

session Details

How long does the session last?

Session lengths vary depending on the type, but most last between 30-45 minutes.

What time do you schedule sessions?

Sessions are typically scheduled during golden hour to ensure best lighting conditions.

Where do sessions take place?

I offer a variety of beautiful outdoor and lifestyle locations. If you have a specific place in mind, let me know—we’ll find the perfect setting together! Studio locations are also available for those dreamy indoor looks.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

No worries—we’ll reschedule for another available date. I always aim for the best lighting and overall experience for your session.

Do you help with outfit planning?

Yes! The Client Guide has tons of helpful suggestions, and I’m always happy to offer feedback or suggestions if you're unsure.

When will I receive my photos?

Turnaround time for photos includes a minimum of 21 business days. During holiday season (November-December), turnaround time may be shortened and images will be delivered by photographer in a timely manner.  I’ll notify you by email when your gallery is ready. Every session includes a curated collection of high-resolution, artistically edited digital images delivered in a private online gallery—ready for you to download and share. If printing photos, I highly recommend www.mpix.com and not your local Walgreens or Walmart photography printing services.

What Happens After Your Session?

Once your session is complete, the real magic begins! Here’s what you can expect next:

1. Sneak Peeks

Within a few days of your session, I’ll share a sneak peek or two on social media (with your permission!) so you can get a little taste of the goodness coming your way.

2. Editing + Curation

I’ll carefully review, hand-edit, and enhance the best images from your session.

3. Gallery Delivery

You’ll receive a private online gallery via email. From there, you’ll be able to download your high-resolution images and share them with friends and family.

4. Staying Connected

I’ll check in after your gallery is delivered to make sure everything looks perfect. And if you leave a review or share your experience, it means the world to me and helps others find me too!

What I Don’t Edit

My editing style is light, airy, and true-to-life, focused on preserving what makes you you. I believe in honoring God’s intentional design and capturing beauty in a way that feels natural, timeless, and authentic.

To keep images honest and consistent, here are a few things I don’t alter:

  • Body shape or size – I don’t reshape bodies, slim figures, or change natural proportions.
  • Facial structure – I won’t alter facial features, smiles, or expressions.
  • Permanent features – Freckles, scars, birthmarks, and natural skin texture are left intact.
  • Extreme skin smoothing – I avoid heavy airbrushing that removes texture or creates an unrealistic look.
  • Major background changes – I don’t add or remove large objects or drastically alter locations.
  • Eye or hair color changes – Your natural features are part of your story and remain true.

I do gently retouch temporary distractions like blemishes, stray hairs, and minor skin redness, and I color-correct every image to maintain my signature light, airy look.

My heart is to create photographs that still look like you years from now—images that feel real, confident, and beautifully made.
